Have you read anything by Gail Carson Levine? They're kind of aimed towards kids, I guess, but I love how she takes classic fairy tales and changes them.
I haven't read anything by her yet, but I've got a few of her books on my list. I'll definitely have to keep her in mind next time I go to the library.
I suggest that you read the Divergent Series By Veronica Roth. It is a really intensely good series,
I plan on reading them this summer actually. They're sitting in a pile. I'll try to read them at least before summer is over (:
I suggest that you read The Help by Kathryn Stockett. It is a very intelligent read that deals with issues that some people would like to cover up.
I would also suggest The Secrets of the Immortal Nicolas Flamel. It is a very interesting series.
Thank you for the suggestions (: I've been planning on reading The Help and I've heard of the other series as well so we'll see what happens.
I think you should read Such Wicked Intent by Kenneth Oppel. I believe that you read and reviewed the first book in this series
I did read and review the first book. I also received a copy of the second book as a present. I've been planning on reading the second book in the series but I think I'd like to read the first book again and I just haven't had the time to go back and read it yet. However, it is a high priority book that I hopefully will get to soon (:
