The boys that Carl attacked will live. However, the incident has caused a big problem for Maggie because the parents of the boys are questioning her authority. They are wondering if she is fit for the position since she cares about Carl so much. While they are discussing the incident, Gregory suggests that Maggie gets killed.

Jesus captured one of the Whisperers and he gets to the Hilltop with Darius, one of the patrolmen who was repeatedly stabbed by the Whisperers. As well, Sophia and Carl are attacked by some of the boys at the Hilltop and Carl retaliates and beats them with a shovel. However, he may have attacked so forcefully that he killed them.
