I really like how the shadows are being used, and that the gradient is portrayed very well. I think this cover also shows the dominance of Negan.

Negan and his men have come and taken half of the supplies
from Rick’s camp. He has made a grand show of proving how tough and strong his
group is, and Rick, for the time being, is letting him call the shots to prove
that they being subordinate.
