Book Title: The Eleventh Plague
Author: Jeff Hirsch
Personal Star Rating: 5/5

In this gripping novel, Jeff Hirsch takes us to post nuclear war America where we meet Stephen Quinn. He was born after the Collapse and being raised to only trust his family, that included his hardened grandfather, who was in the army, and his father, who didn't often stand up to his father, led him to believe that this was true since they didn't interact with any other people.

When Stephen suddenly finds himself alone, this coming of age story shows how a young boy takes action after suffering loss and how he can find a family in strangers.

The vocabulary was really fascinating, and the description was remarkable. I found it to be interesting and unique. The popularity of futuristic America and a post-nuclear world is a common theme in many novels today so this is a current book that I would recommend.
