Review:
Carl is struggling in the liminal space between adulthood and childhood. He has been growing up, he is becoming more mature, but he also still is dependent and relies on Rick, his father, for support. However, he is showing his strength and ability to live and his will so survive. Rick is very sick, however, and is unconscious for most of the day with Carl forced to fend for himself.
