Description:
Glen Runciter runs a lucrative business - deploying his teams of anti-psychics to corporate clients who want privacy and security from psychic spies. But when he and his top team are ambushed by a rival, he is gravely injured and placed in "half-life", a dreamlike state of suspended animation. Soon, though, the surviving members of the team begin experiencing some strange phenomena, such as Runciter's face appearing on coins and the world seeming to move backward in time. As consumables deteriorate and technology gets ever more primitive, the group needs to find out what is causing the shifts and what a mysterious product called Ubik has to do with it all.

Cover Comments:
I think the cover is very effective and showcases how important the canister is in the overall story.

Title Thoughts:
Unique, catchy, and encompasses the plot of the story.

Review:
Throughout the book I had no idea what exactly was going on, and found myself in a state of confusion, but in the best way possible. The wondering made it extremely interesting and made it extremely captivating. I enjoyed reading this book and appreciated the potentially ambiguous ending. I enjoyed how interesting this book was and how it has persisted through decades to still be relevant to contemporary audiences. I would recommend this to all those who enjoy science fiction and those who are looking for something unique to read.
